The inspiration for this came from a German holiday "pyramid" my husband and I bought early in our marriage.  It's one of our favorite pieces and just setting it up brings Christmas into the room.
 
This pyramid features poinsettias, bee skeps and bees!  (Beth Twist has taught me that bees are awake in their hives all winter, so who's to say that they're not enjoying the seasons as much as we are?)
 
The model is stitched on 40 count "Paperbark" linen from Fox & Rabbit.  Stitch count is 93 wide x 118 high.  The model is trimmed with "Vintage" chenille and backed with "Blue Fescue" velveteen, both from Lady Dot Creates.
