This piece celebrates the joy of visiting the shore. Inspired by Happy Campers, this design has a whole new cast of characters enjoying their outing to the sea. The border keeps things interesting with lots of different motifs. Instead of a building in the lower panel, I've included a vintage style ferry boat laden with a variety of animal passengers. And they can enjoy a whole range of seaside activities, including visiting a tidepool and lounging in the sand.
 
Note: if you are stitching this on 40 count you will likely need two skeins of 12-Grain, Balsam Fir & Eggshell.  If you are using a lower fabric count (and stitching with two threads) you may also need an additional skein of Onyx and German Chocolate)
 
The model is stitched on 40 count Cyprus linen from Fiber On A Whim. (The closest DMC equivalent is 003.) Stitch count is 221 wide x 191 high. The model was stitched by Chris Canaday and finished by Acorns & Threads.
