I learned to cross stitch when I was young, but like so many others I had stepped away from needle arts only to return later in life. Now it is my great pleasure to design cross stitch patterns as The Blue Flower. I draw my inspiration from my pets, my own history, and the vast spectrum of the natural world. I hope that the designs express the great joy I experience in many aspects of stitching. I appreciate the opportunity to put a few stitches of my own into the long tapestry of needlework history, and I hope some of these designs may become part of your unique creative endeavours.
