Of Many Lives
NEW RELEASE - AVAILABLE ONLY IN SHOPS
This collection rose out of a challenge - to create an updated family tree design. And so I have one traditional "tree", as well as a design inspired by a log cabin quilt. (This could easily be a biscornu top, and could include a sibling group, names of stitching friends etc.) Finally, there is the "Of Many Lives" piece designed to highlight the interconnectedness of the natural world. (For this, I've included not only the bear option shown in the model, but also options for a beaver, cat, bear or dog, along with some information about what the various choices symbolise.)
You may notice some interesting names on the family tree as well - since I don't like to put lots of personal details online without permission, I've included the heritage of one of our greyhounds! So "Legendary Lexi" and "Flying Daquiri" are featured in the models. The chart includes worksheets and alphabets (both over one and back stitched options) so you can include your own name choices.
The model is stitched on 40 count "Rustic Driftwood" linen from xJudesign. Stitch count varies depending on the design. The tree is 191 x 144, the square is 96 x 96 and the
nature design is 151 x 138.
